Holland for footwear

As a trend I thought had come and disappeared, it appears that clogs are now hot for SS10. With big designers paving the way with this traditional footway, it may not be long before the highstreet do the same.

Marc Jacobs has revamped the original clog for Louis Vuitton by adding extra detailing such as tassels and fur charms. It funnily enough works extremely well and when worn with a simple teadress similar to what Ralph Lauren has produced or even the dungarees from his latest collection will be an effective companion.
Chanel, an unlikely source for clogs has also produced their own
alternative and added height to the heel, teamed with their patterned Hosiery for a more modern, feminine look. Their trade-mark flower has been added and the famous emblem made from metal gives that exclusive feel that Chanel strives itself on.
